Psychotherapy and counselling are talking therapies.
A therapist can offer you a safe space in which you can express your feelings, thoughts and concerns of any kind. You gain deeper insight into the obstacles you face in life.
Counselling refers to a brief therapy in focusing on a specific problem, event or situation.
Psychotherapy works on a deeper level over a longer period of time, providing further insight into difficulties and an understanding of the roots causing particular behavioural patterns, thoughts and feelings.
My therapeutic approach is informed by psychodynamic psychotherapy, which is based on psychoanalytical theory and concepts. This involves an exploration of your inner world, your emotions, behaviours, and meaningful relationships in the present and in your past life history.
